At Aromaland we carefully source our essential oils from reputable farmers and distillers located in over 44 countries around the world. At Aromaland we test each oil we receive in every shipment.

Each essential oil shipment is personally examined by Aromaland CEO and founder Ralf Möller who has over 30 years worth of experience evaluating essential oils. Testing each and every new essential oil shipment is important because variations can occur between distillations. Testing insures that integrity and quality are maintained.

Aromaland Owns Its Own GC/MS Equipment and Tests All Its Essential Oils

After Ralf personally inspects each oil, each oil is then run through a GC/MS (gas chromatograph / mass spectrometer) that analyzes each essential oil, molecule by molecule. Aromaland owns its own Shimatsu GC/MS machine. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is a method that combines the features of gas-liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry to identify different substances within a test sample.
